Excellent coffee, open early.

Nice little coffee shop, has a neat upstairs seating area. The staff is pretty laid back but not in a rude way. My only complaint is they did seem more interested in talking to the regular customers behind us, it did feel like we were shuffled to the side quickly. It doesn't change the fact that the coffee was amazing.

Very cozy as it was a cold day outside. Friendly staff. Outdoor seating. Upstairs seating.

Great coffee and espresso drinks (try the mocha frap!) and good smoothies too (I loved the peach one). Also super nice staff, and it’s connected to Footsloggers if you want to do some shopping at the same time. There’s some outdoor seating and more seating upstairs, and dedicated parking spaces for customers in the front you can usually get even if the rest of Blowing Rock is crowded.

A friend of mine recommended Camp Coffee to me and I've been plotting a way to get there ever since. It took me awhile to make it happen, but I was not disappointed. The ambience was pleasant, the staff polite and efficient, and they have great taste in music. But let's get to the good stuff, the coffee. The coffee was excellent, the price point reasonable, the wait minimal, and did I mention the coffee was good? The coffee was really good.

Only place I'm the area we could find for a semblence of breakfast. Had a coffee, savory scone and blueberry muffin- all of which were fantastic!

I have been a returning visitor to Blowing Rock and a customer here for the past several years. The coffee is superb, the service excellent, and the staff friendly. Picked up a nitro cold brew and an iced coffee today. Shoutout to the nice barista this afternoon who made me feel welcome! Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I stumbled upon this place quaint place while visiting Boone and we absolutely loved it! From the moment we walked in, the guy making coffe was friendly and engaging in conversation and discussed the coffee flavors. Coffee was delicious and would love to go back!

Delicious treats and drinks. I love the way my vanilla latte tasted. Much better than the international big chain if you ask me. I come here every time I am in the area. Very friendly service and easy going. Also, the owner is a veteran who served around the same time I was overseas in Iraq and I support any business owned by a veteran. If you open shop in the Charlotte area I will be a loyal customer.

Just really excellent coffee. Great local spot. Really hard working staff. You cannot go wrong making a coffee run here.

This review is for the bean-roast operation and not for the cafe which provides poor availability of beans, unorganized staff not willing to work with customer and make something simple as purchasing a bag of beans difficult. After attempt to make prior arrangements, we left the shop with excuses instead of product. If you want a regular source for beans, look elsewhere - evidently all they got is fancy wrappers for higher prices.

No place like it! Greatest coffee in the world! You can feel the love and passion that goes into everything they do here! Hope they spread around and make it down to South Carolina!

Best coffe in Blowing Rock. Staff was helpful and friendly as well as knowledge. They carry a wide variety of freshly roasted coffee and a small assortment of locally made pastries. If you have good timing they sometimes have a "premium" roast available as well which is usually a specially sourced small batch or direct trade bean. A must try for anyone passing by.

Best coffee! We had iced and hot bold brew with oat milk. It was so delicious we went back for seconds. Don't get your coffee from anywhere else while in the high country.

First time at Camp Coffee, and I really enjoyed the experience. They’re coffee is excellent, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Our drinks were prepared quickly and we didn’t have to wait long at all. Granted we were there at a later part of the day, but still, I would definitely recommend giving them a visit.

Its another Espresso shop. Good as far as that goes. I was hoping that since they claim to be a roastery I would be able to get a pour over so I could see if it was good (I'm fussy about my coffee). Unfortunately they only offer pre-brewed coffee, okay but not what I expected

Floored by the rudeness of the red haired male barista that works here. He completely ignored my sisters and me. When we tried to order we had to ask multiple times before we got a response. The response we received was so disrespectful it shocked me. He said to us, “I am making coffee, one second” in the most annoyed voice while his back was turned to us. Then when both the coffees we received tasted burnt and watery, he never offered to remake them, refund them or apologize, he only questioned what tasted burnt. Still waiting for the refund he promised he had made. I have never been treated by service like that. If this wasn’t enough, he made a point to greet the man who came in after us with a “how are you doing today SIR” and be perfectly friendly to him. Don’t know if he was intentionally being sexist but it definitely came across that way. His attitude the entire time was absolutely awful. So disappointed. Do not go.

The people who work here are awesome and the coffee they made me was nothing short then a delectable and delicious piece of art! I will definitely be back!

Wild berry smoothie was good & refreshing.

i went here with my aunty this weekend cause i was on vacay to see her and i tryed the chai tea latte the one i got was earl gray tea with lavender and vanilla extract

Very Disappointing While this is a great location, the coffee was just ok. We have been there a number of times, and they charged Starbucks prices, but delivered McDonalds coffee. My daughter offered ordered a simple black coffee with almond milk, the barista (pictured in one of the reviews) delivered something different, and when we questioned him, he poured half out, poured almond milk in, and said “close enough“. Not what you expect when you order a $4 cup of coffee.

It is a treasure hidden in blowing mountain and it looks so cozy.

Great place on main street in Blowing Rock. Get that coffee fix with any flavor or go solo with espresso.

Oh my word! Caramel pumpkin muffins!!!! Delicious coffee and so so yummy muffins. I usually get the scones which I love but tried the muffins today and they were so delicious I may have to start ordering both!!

My husband and I stopped here for a quick latte to go. We enjoy finding local coffee shops and this one did not disappoint. Great latte, fast and friendly service. So much better than a Starbucks. Highly recommend!

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, the coffee is okay-ish, but kind of bitter. We won't be going back, but it satisfied our morning coffee ritual.

Great hot chocolate. Only place to sit down are two 2 outside tables.

Great lattes at the Lenoir location, but after going through hellacious traffic through Blowing Rock only to be greeted by a “sorry, we closed at 4:00” sign....not happy at all. I wholeheartedly support local businesses but I’ve noticed that a lot of them just set whatever hours they want anymore, regardless of what it says on Google Maps and Facebook.

It's hard to find a place that makes a great cappuccino. This coffee shop knows how to do it! There is a lovely place upstairs where you can relax and enjoy your wonderfully prepared brew. If you're in Blowing Rock, don't overlook this gem.

Best coffee in Blowing Rock! I always stop here for coffee. Any espresso drink you get will be amazing! Update, December 30, 2017: this used to be Bald Guy and is now called Camp Coffee! Owned by the same wonderful people! They’ve opened the spot downstairs, where you order your coffee, and the upstairs is used for lounging. 😊

Best little coffee shop in Blowing Rock. Great coffee drinks, friendly staff and really convenient location. I always stop in and grab a bag or two of the beans to get me through until my next visit.

Super rude barista! Came in with my sisters, he didn’t say hello, kept his back to us for the whole time, including ignoring me when I asked to order. When I prompted with a “Hello?”, he shut me down: “I’m making coffee.” And yes, obviously, that’s why we were there. Pointedly said to the MAN who came in after us “How are you doing today, sir?” Generally unpleasant experience that left a bad taste in our mouths, including the espresso, which was burned. Asked for a refund, which given his attitude I’m not sure I’ll get, and won’t be coming back.

The bearded barista man with glasses is incredibly knowledgable about all things coffee from roasting beans to steaming milk alternatives. He is definitely Camp Coffee’s greatest asset along with their beans. Their blueberry scones and other pastries are also delicious.

I love this spot and blowing Rock, I'm not trying to be mean to the two guys are working there but we came in like 10 minutes before closing and we got 2 mocha coffees and they made them and they came out warm they weren't really hot but we didn't want to say anything so we just took it and left but it is a little much for $5 for your coffee to come out warm I just didn't want to be mean.

The coffee is great! And the marine who introduced me to the nitro brew was knowledgeable and histerical! As a veteran myself I appreciate a good sense of humor. It made the whole experience more memorable. I'll definately be coming back for more!
